VRG Djursholm - 20 minutes from the city
The first Viktor Rydberg gymnasium was established in 1994 in Djursholm. Students have always traveled from several municipalities, and a large number of them take the Roslagsbanan commuter train to Djursholm from Stockholm every morning. The school is located in a beautiful and picturesque setting. There is excellent access to sports facilities and outdoor activities.
In addition to Sweden, teachers originate from e.g. England, Australia, Canada, France, Spain and Germany. Spanish, French, German and Russian can be taken in addition to English.
The school has a modern IT environment with a wireless network for teachers and students.
There are several school sports teams at VRG Djursholm. The teams partake in sports exchanges with other Swedish schools.
There is an entirely new, modern and well-equipped music studio, several school bands and a very active and lively choir. VRG Djursholm offers top-class instruction in the theoretical subjects, while it at the same time affords students the opportunity to develop their creativity through art, song and music. Students are also offered the chance to participate in VRG’s annual musical.
